As kids, listening to the first vinyls or tapes bought on Saturdays with our hard-earned allowance, we used to dream of typing – in a flickering future – song titles and performers on a Commodore-like keyboard and instantly enjoying our favourite tunes.
Yet, afterwards, we said to one another:”dream on, pal, this will never happen!”.
This serendipity, ironically we used to live in the city where MP3 technology was implemented, may neatly describe what has really happened to our lives during the last decades.
Unfortunately the outcomes of technology have somehow overloaded the collective mind.
For the new communities that have grown from the inside of narrow homes it is now time to walk out on the wild wide side of the new metaphors… and make them true.
